1. Referral service only

HandyMatch is a referral service, not a plumbing contractor. We do not perform, supervise or control any plumbing work. We pass your request to an independent plumber; any agreement for work is directly between you and that plumber.

2. Independent plumbers

Plumbers are independent businesses, not employees, agents or partners of HandyMatch. Each plumber is solely responsible for their work, pricing, permits, licensing, insurance, warranties and conduct.

We check plumbers' Texas licenses with the TSBPE and request proof of insurance when they join. This is a point-in-time check, not a guarantee. You may verify any plumber's license yourself at the TSBPE website.

HandyMatch makes no warranty about any plumber's work, availability, response time or price. The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, HandyMatch is not liable for any damage, loss or dispute arising from work performed by a plumber.

HandyMatch is free for homeowners. Plumbers pay a 10% referral fee on jobs referred by HandyMatch that they complete and get paid for, under the terms in the plumber sign-up agreement.

HandyMatch is not an emergency service. If there is a gas smell, fire, or risk to safety, leave the area and call 911 or your gas utility.

We may update these terms at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. In case of any difference between the English and Spanish versions, the English version controls.
